Inspired by the Edgar Allan Poe story of the same name. I wanted to get creative with the costume, so over the traditional skull mask i pinned the wrinkling, decaying, bloody skin of one of the Red Death's victims.
I tried something different this week, monotone painting – which isn't really a "new" technique but is very new to me. I've never tried it before but i love how it came out, much better than most of my other work i think. As usual, leave a comment, get a chance at winning a print  (And no. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
